Strange edges that will not delete?

I'm brand new to Maya (switched from Blender) and I'm loving it so far. However, I am having some issues.

Here is my model:

To create the window "cut-outs", I used the boolean tools, and they worked for the most part, except it left these edges that serve no purpose and no matter how I try to delete them (I've tried using the Delete Edge/Vertex tool), they will not delete. I've highlighted them in the image above.

I even imported my model into Blender, and was able to successfully delete the edges, but when I reimported back into Maya they reappeared... GAH!

I've attached my Maya scene file if anyone would like to see for themselves.

This is my first actual Maya model that I've created, and I still need to work on my model workflow because I had to spend a great deal of time manually cleaning up my model, but I'm slowly learning...

Thanks for your help!

Took me a while, but I finally figured out what the problem is.  Those aren't edges....they're polygons. And they're tough to delete, but not impossible. I found the easiest way was to go into wireframe mode (hit the '4' key) and zoom into the cabin from the back side so there is nothing behind those when you try to select them. Just select them and hit the delete key.
