Snaping a group points to another mesh

Hello. I'm working with character arts and I had many situations when I need to snap boarder of one mesh to another. In this case I'm trying to snap boarder of the head to the body boarder. But keep in mind that I don't need to combine this meshes. I need to have them separately. For now I'm snapping it using selection and transform single vertices and moving to another to body. Could you recommend me process or tool to speed up it? For example to automaticaly snap a group of points using minimal distance or something like that. Thank you!

Thank you! The script works perfectly. I was suprised that industry standard program can't do it with inbuilt tools 🤣
