Hi there! I'm pretty new to Maya, and that's why I sometimes have such trivial or a bit confusing questions. Throughout the creatrive process on my model, I went an extra mile for certain parts to look smooth, adding polygons and beveling edges (consequantly using 3); however, certain elements, that I crearted, I left un-smoothed (using 1). And now I start to question if it was a good idea to do, and should I individually fix the said elements, so when the full model is smoothed, it all looks ok or is it a normal practice to leave certain parts of complicated models unsmoothed?
