sizing jpeg to fit

I have a cube that I formed to give me a door.

I assigned a new material to it (aiStandardSurface)

I download a texture, actually a jpeg of a door

I placed this jpeg onto the polygon shaped cube and

but the jpeg is much larger than the polygon door.

I cannot get, with the "Repeat UV" nodes, the jpeg down to the correct size

I also do not know the correct question(s) to ask

in order to accomplish my goal

You need to watch UV tutorials and shading.

I can't answer such basic workflow that is easy to learn.

Good luck.

Hi!

Just use the UV Editor and scale the UVs.
