Yes
If you combine multiple object to one object
Than you can have all uv’s in one

Thank you

If I group the objects then I get the UVs on a single mesh.

Should I 'combine' or 'group' and is there a difference from a UV map perspective?

thank you

If you group them you can’t move or edit all uvs same time till you combine all in one object

If I remember it correctly you dont even need to group nor combine them. Simply select both objects and open the UV Editor.
Had to work like that for the last 2 month, created some environment asset sets for a game.

(not able to check in program atm, correct me if i am wrong :3)

Thank you for the help (kudo given).

I wanted to have a single map to transfer to Substance Painter.

Grouping works and so does combine and I think that combine is the better option.

Yes if I select multiple options then they both show up on the UV Map

thanks again
