Select and delete edge?

Is there anyway to delete edge more faster way? I mean to say any function there that I only select the edge and edge will be deleted?

This could be doable with a custom script.

You know that you can hover over an edge and hit delete without the need to select the edge?

A custom script with "mouse-click-delete" can't be faster than this.

Thanks for rplying Yeah I know that. But what if I want to delete an edge loop ring? Then hovering technique will not be working

I personally don't find anything faster than selecting the edge, holding ctrl and hitting delete. Most efficient way to do it.

You have to install Bonus Tool if you want to delete full edge loop by selecting only. Go to Bonus Tool tab then go to modeling and select Delete Edge Loop Tool under Mesh tools and select the edge which loop you want to delete
