polyBevel settings menu in attribute editor missing / not appearing

I am using maya 2014 and was trying to bevel my object but it is not showing the options in the attribute editor. Does anyone know why? please help 😃

maybe history is disabled. there is a small icon in the status bar next to the render buttons.
