Object noc visible in Panel Layout

Dear Community

I try to make an object visible in the viewport panel. When I try to change the view to Single Panel, nothing is visible. I tried to hid/unhide change view.... nothing happens. Only in a split view I can see the object. Can anyone please help?

Hi,

The likely issue is that the object is either behind or very far in front of the perspective camera.

If this is the case you can move the object back to the origin by using Modify > Reset Transformations > Options with just Translate enabled.

Thank you for your help and your time. Unfortunately it didn't help. I have no clue what went wrong. It is just an test-file to learn navigating in Maya (I am an ex Blender)

even the rotation is weird! Really don't know what I have done :-(((

Hi,

To restore the object in the perspective view try Lighting > Use Default Lighting and Show > All and in the perspective view menus:

  

However, the cameras do seem a little messed up in your scene so it might be a good idea to delete your Maya preferences and restart Maya with a fresh scene.
