Object deformation in render

Hi again guys,

So i was trying out rendering my architectural model in arnold, I imported my file, but the UV's were all messed up, (couldn't apply texture correctly), the polygones weren't connected,  so i started merging every face with the connected one manually to create a one object, unfortunatly, after doing Three to test in the render they get smoothed or i don't know what s that is called, Is there any thing I can do ?

I import fbx from archicad > sketchup , is there any solution to import every bloc or wall or mesh already merged into one object ? without going through all this work ?

Hi!

It looks like Smooth Mesh Preview is enabled, just disable it and any other subdivisions that may be applied.

Merge the objects before export, or after import in Maya by using Edit Mesh -> Merge.

On the mesh shape node, check Arnold > Subdivision > Type.  If you don't want smoothing, make sure Type is set to "none".  It's set to none by default, so I don't know why it would be enabled if you didn't mean it to be.

Thanks, i found the problem, it was indeed the subdivision, it was on " Clatclark" in arnold menu, in mesh shape

i think it turned when i imported, or worked on the UV .. i don't know

What about my other qst : I import fbx from archicad > sketchup , is there any solution to import every bloc or wall or mesh already merged into one object ? without going through all this work ?
