Normal based UV bug

Whenever I try to create a normal based map in the UV editor, it doesn't seem to actually make the new map, but instead creates a new perspective camera in the outliner. Is there a reason and/or fix for this?

Sorry if I did not write that correctly. I meant when I try and unwrap an object's UV under the Create>Normal Based option, it gives me an error and makes a new camera. The error reads 'Invalid path 'polyTexturePlacementPanel1'.UVError.JPG

It looks like your UVs are almost correct . Usually  the Create>Automatic projection is the most reliable.

You can also provide a scene file to see if there's a problem .

Hi!

This seems to be broken in Maya 2022.

Please report this problem (bug?) to Autodesk.
In Maya main menu:
Help -> Speak Back -> Report a Problem
