Non Planar Face on a single triangle

Hi, I have a large model but have cleaned it up to a single triangle. When I run cleanup I get an error on non-planar faces. I can't see how it cannot be planar as it is a tri.

It was imported from Revit so came with a lot of baggage

Hi!

This seems to be a bug related to large faces, maybe a rounding problem/error.

Keep in mind you are using "meter" as units which starts with large values.

Easy to reproduce:

Create a simple polygon plane with default settings and scale it up ( 1000 with "cm" or 10 with "m") and rotate it, then you get also incorrect face selections.

Please report this problem (bug?) to Autodesk.

thank you. Given that it is a bug would you say that the mesh is fine and apart from cleanup it should be fine to work with?

Hi!

Yes.

If you are unsure you can check this by scaling down the object down to a smaller size, but usually non planar faces are not a problem anyway.
