Multi-Cut Tool

I am having trouble with the multi-cut tool and getting the vertices to connect. It left out two edges when I held down the control button at the same time after clicking the multi-cut tool. I need to fix the two edges without deleting my whole project.

Why do you want to delete the project because of one edge? Just fix the edge.

I am not sure how to fix the edge. I do not want to have to delete the
whole project.

"I need to fix the two edges without deleting my whole project".

I don't understand why a project would get deleted by adding or deleting an edge, that's what you wrote.

I am not going to be deleting the project, I am just looking to figure out how to add an edge.

Just connect the edges with the multicut tool or delete the 4 faces and bridge the edges across.

That’s where my issue lies - the multi-cut tool won’t allow me to connect the vertices to create an edge as seen in the image I have attached. It displays the stop option when I try to do so.

You should also check your mesh integrity and enable heads up display so you can keep track  of the mesh information.

This is the error that is coming up when I try to do that.

You did not delete the face that is in my image, please pay attention, once that face is gone you will have 2 edges on each side to be bridged.

Yes but the project requires that I keep the face. Is there a way I can place it back in after I bridge the 2 edges on each side?

Your answer doesn't make any sense, you are replacing one bad face that you cannot connect with the multicut tool with a brand new face to finish the model, that's the end of it, no one will ever know the difference, that is the standard way of modeling.

I highly recommend you enroll in an online course.Try The Gnomon workshop.com  it's only 49 a month, that's a great price.

So the brand new face will connect the vertices? I apologize for the confusion, but I am a beginner in 3D modeling.
