The red circle represents where my mouse was to make the selection of the edge loop to the left. Depending on where my mose is and the slection I am trying to make this ca n also occur to the right of the mouses position. I have tried saving and re-opening, I have tired freezing transformations and deleting history, all with no success. Any help would be much appreciated.
