Maya drag selection problem

hello.... i have a problem....i am using maya 2019 ..... i am modeling ... and in this i am using the Right perspective ..... when i try to select the vertices by dragging .... it wont select the opposite side vertices.... i dont know this is happening.... any soltuion to this????

Check the modificators settings, if the camera based selection is checked it wont select the vertex behind object

Thank you so so so much sir...... i was just hanged there..... there is one more thing.... if you could help.... !!! when i try to select upper or lower edge loop of the Box by double click.... it wont select the edge loop ... but if i made anther edge loop in the box... it select by double clicking it.... by the way Thanks a lot for that solution..... 🙂

Thats easy, box does not have an edge loop 🙂 When you double click it it dont know where it shoud continue. As soon as you add one or add divisions then its clear that this edge goes around. Box edges ends in corners where you have end of three edges, edge loop connect just one to one as a train.
