makeText tool - history does´nt work

Hi,

I´ve tried to create a text with history on (Maya 2013 or Maya 2014), the history does´nt work - I could not change the Text or Font after Creation. If I remember earlier versions - it worked ... , mmhh

Has somebody an answer?

Hello Horge,

When you are creating Text, what type are you using?

History is available on the Bevel Type as there is a textForBevel node in the history. I do not believe there was ever a history node on the other types as they are a single command.

Ha! It was the first time in 20 years 3D that I´ve used the text-tool only for generating splines AND need a solution to change font and characters via history -  and I did´nt know that it workes only for bevel - butb anyway, it helps me!
