Isolate selection broken in Maya 2023

If you select the object's polygons and click Isolate Selection, and then try to select the loop by double-clicking, it will not display what you have selected on the screen, it will make it buggy. How to fix this is not clear, I thought they would fix it with an update, but no .. Also, when editing the model, I noticed that the hard / soft edge can spontaneously change.

not seeing this issue on our side. And that is just a standard cylinder (if not can we have the geo you are using here)? Can you do a video where you capture the move tools marking menu options (hold w on the keyboard and Left click to post the move tool Marking Menu options) and show us what is checked and on in those options?

Are you on windows or Mac? What graphics card do you have. Is it an integrated hardware graphics solution? Does this occur after renaming your /Users/username/Documents/maya/mayaVersionNumber preferences?

Thank you for drawing attention to my problem.
This happens with absolutely any object in the scene, a colleague on another computer has the same problem with this version. The 2022 version does not have this problem. I'm running Windows, RTX 2080 graphics card.

I recorded a video from pure Maya.

I suspect something is wrong with viewport 2.0
It seems as if in isolate mode the selection of points, edges, polygons occurs with a delay until the next selection.
if you connect legacy render, this problem is not there, but this is not a solution.

@p.pravdyuk
thank you very much for the comprehensive video. I will forward it internally to see if we can find a comparable graphics card to test. I also see you are working in 2023.1 so I'll also check to see if we had a historical issue like this for that version of Maya that may have been fixed since. Which version of Windows is that that you are running?

k, this seems to be a known issue that was publicly posted on another knowledge network forum:
https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/maya-forum/maya-2023-component-selection-issues/m-p/11263293#M93958

Not sure if it will make any difference but you could try using the Tab key to add/subtract from selection to see if that bypasses this bad behaviour.
