I'm trying to use the EP curve tool to create a telephone wire. However, the curves are leaving completely far from the object. I'm following a class step by step, but I can't leave it as done by the teacher. Below is a video of my attempt.
The ep curve tool will always create a curve that lies on a plane. If you are using the free moving camera view that means that it will be flat on the ground. So instead you should create the curve when you are in the orthogonal front or side view.
