How to join both surfaces with a loft command?

Hi.

I have drawn a curve like a rectangle, except I have a bevel on each corner.

I got a surface from it with the command Surfaces > Planar.

I duplicated the surface with the command offset.

I translated the surface a little bit.

I would like to join both surfaces with a loft command.

How should I proceed?

Please refer to the picture.

Thanks.

Hi!

You need to select 2 curves for Loft.

Duplicate the curve before using 2 x Planar and 1 x Loft.

@mspeer

Thank you very much for reply.

I have drawn the curve, duplicated it, spaced th second one and applied the loft command.

I got what it is described in the attached picture.

I have like artefacts, like if the normals were wrong.

How can I solve it?

Thanks.

Hi!

It's impossible to say what's the problem here without a scene-file.

If the problem is relelated to normals than you need to change the direction of a curve or surface or inverse normals of polygons.

For me this looks like faces on top of each other what can also be caused by wrong curve or surface direction.
