How to import an Heightmap in the Hypeshade?

Hi, in the IMAGE 1 you can see that i have created a plane.

Now i'am in the Hypershade.

What should i do for import an Heightmap in the Hypeshade?

Use a Displacement Map or a Texture Deformer.

Hi!

What does this mean? First you should chose the method how to deform the model.

If you need to to do this from within Hypershade you are limited to shader nodes.

 

Create a File node (in 2D Textures), then in Attribute Editor select Image Name (texture file).

You can also Drag'n Drop from system file explorer into Hypershade .

In the IMAGE attacched you can see that i have created a File node in (2D Textures).

And i have imported the heightmap.

Now what i have to do?

Hi!

The question is answered and the problem solved.

The texture is now in Hypershade.

and don't forget to set the image file color space to Raw for rendering if is an 16bit tiff.
