How to have multiple shapes follow the form of one big shape???

I was wondering how would one go about creating this type of roof (with many long poles) perfectly aligning with the form of the roof on top.

Similar to the image here, I want the tip part of the roof (marked in blue) to follow the form of the roof below it (marked in green). Esentially, I wanted the top roof with the many long poles to fit perfectly on top of the roof below it.
How would one go about doing this?

If you want it perfect. Do it by hand one by one.

Or use a lattice deformer. A wire deformer might also work.

Create single side mesh, and push the edge to get the roof shape.
convert edge loop to curves.
then extrude use those curves

I ended up creating this by creating a copy of the face on the top of the roof (where all of the multiple shapes would go later). Then I created a bunch of edge loops, and I added a bevel to each one. Then I deleted the faced between each bevel. Finally, I extruded the top part of each shape.
