Hey,

i wonder if there is a way to connect 2 CV curves midway. so i dint want to connect their ending points, i want to connect the ending point(s) of one curve to any point of another curve. I tried all options from connect, attach, intersect, but none worked.

i attached a file to make it more clear.

Hi!

You can't connect curves this way, but you could snap points on other points position by using "Snap to points".

i tried to snap, but i only could snap points from one curve onto each other, like start point onto ending point. snapping didnt work with point from 2 different curves

Hi!

When both curves are in component mode it works here with Maya 2017 update 3.

Hi!

Right mouse click -> Control Vertex is one option, or use in upper menu "Select By Component Type"/Hotkey F7 (easier in this case), but both methods work in Maya 2017 update 3.

What Maya Version do you use?

Also make sure Symmetry is off, you may try to reset the Transform Tool.

If this doesn't work try a reset of your preferences.
Rename the folder prefs in folder 2017 to something like prefs_backup, or to reset everything, the folder 2017 to 2017_backup. Maya creates new folders. Detailed at:
