How to adjust camera clipping plane?

Hi,

Im new to Maya. Im modelling an island and i need to zoom out, whenever i do so, some of the models disappear or parts of it disappear....whenever i zoom in again, the models are shown again.

Is there any way to extend the zooming out issue on maya 8?

select the perspective camera, ctrl-a to get the settings up, and increase the far clipping plane.
