Fatal Error (crashes) scene when opened

Dear Autodesk Community,

(Maya 2022)

I have run into an issue with a scene I have been working on. My problem began after I organized my outliner and deleted by type pieces that were no longer necessary. A fatal error popped up shortly after and now I cannot open or import this scene. I have done a clean uninstall and reinstall and still it refuses to stay open for more than a few seconds. Other recent scenes are running fine. Was this due to my handling of the outliner? Can someone out there help me out?

Could just be that while crashing Maya wrote partial code in to the file before terminating and that's the issue. Did you ever get this resolved / still need help?

Dear thoughtful person,

I really appreciate your email to check in to help me with this post. I
have already completely remade the project from scratch over again and I
still am not sure what happened. I believe it has something to do with me
deleting some elements from the outliner that were important and then
saving over what I had made. This may have been the reason, but I have
since moved on. Thank you for taking the time to reach out to help.
