Edge won't loop

Hello, I'm new to Maya and modeling. I'm trying to model a knife and I got some edge loop problem. I couldn't figure out what causes the problem. I also attached my scene file. Thank you in advance.

Hi!

Sorry, I can't see any problem.

If the issue is about the selection of the edge loop, this works totally correct, based on your topology.

It select all edges on a continues path and then steps where the path ends (and there is no further edge straight ahead, only left or right).

Just use Shift selection to add further edges.
