So I'm doing a class project where I really need to use instances. I've never used them before -- this is only my second project with Maya, so I'm still getting used to things.
My classmates suggested deleting an object's history (it was fine, the object was a barely modified cube) and restarting Maya, but neither worked. I'm kind of in desperate need of help because I really need instances. I also don't have the smart duplicate options visible anywhere that my classmates and prof have.
Can anyone help?
