Curve tool not showing up in perspective view.

I recently installed maya 2020 

I am trying to make a curve using the curve tool, the curve I create is visible in the 3 views except the perspective view. If I  right click in the perspective view I get the options for the curve but the curve itself is not visible 

anyone having similar issues ?

Hi!

Might the curves be unchecked under the Show menu in perspective view?

Everything was checked , I basically copied the model into a new maya window and it worked after that.
