Can't Import SVG To Maya

Hi.

I Can't seem to be able to add Any SVG files. I tried importing from Adobe Illustrator and Affinity Designer and also tried pasting the curves directly into Maya. I even tried re-installing Maya, but it still didn't work. The error that is more repetitive is "Can't perform polySoftEdge1 on selection".

Below are the errors I've been getting. (I've also attached a txt file with complete Script Editor errors.)

My PC specs:

OS : Windows 10

RAM : 16 GB

CPU : Intel Core-i7 3770 3.4 GHz

GPU : AMD Radeon R7 200 Series

Mainboard : Asus H61M-K

HDD : 1 TB

I'd appreciate any working solution.

Thanks.

I was having the same problem, but I figured it out after a lot of testing. Maya doesn't like strokes. So either create a solid shape or "outline stroke" in Illustrator or "expand" stroke in Affinity Designer.

Hi, i have the same problem, but diferent.

Well, in my case only can submit a svg from 3D section on Windows, if i try select a svg file in other folder always aparece a error notification.

I don't know why this happens, but that's what I could find after doing several tests. XD
