Can't delete an object

Hi,

I'm having an issue with an object that gives me an error: showEditor.mel line 4390: Invalid object name: |:Back_Wall_L_f_0:125]

I managed to duplicate it and use the duplicate normally but I can't seem to be able to delete the main one. Also when that object is selected I pretty much can't do anything with Maya unless I select another object.

If anyone has an idea, that would be great.

"Open Hypergraph Connections (Window > General Editors > Hypergraph Connections), find the broken object, select it in the Hypergraph Connections window and delete it."

Does this help in your case?

Soooo, weird thing, I didn't touch anything but when I opened my project today, the object was back to normal, I can modify or delete it normally.

I have no clue what happened, some kind of a glitch I suppose, so if that happens to anyone, save your project and restart Maya, it might do the trick.
