Arnold rendering images smaller than the size i specify.

Hi

I have a severe issue with rendering an image. Its really important that i render my images to a specific size 3840 x 2160 and high quality - these renders take several hours and for the last 4 attempts it is leaving me with an image sized at 1400x700 so i cant upscale it without it losing large amounts of quality. I have cameras set up within the scene, not sure if something to do with that has caused this - it hasn't before. 

A side note, through all of this, i noticed my render settings tab doesn't bring up the render settings window anymore?

I've had the disappearing Render Settings happen to me too...where I switch to Arnold and then all of the options disappear and the window is blank gray. It was fixed with 2018, and when I recently redownloaded 2017 I haven't had a problem with it (yet lol). I found a workaround was to undock the Render Settings and randomly switch between renderers (I circled the renderers drop down in blue) until the settings come back.

You need the Render Settings to set your image output size. Once your settings come back, make sure the camera you want to use is in the "Renderable Camera" dropdown, and set your desired image size (circled in orange).
