applying smooth for uvs

i am trying  to learn uv so consider an object and the same object duplicated with smooth from mesh menu is applied there i see a good differeence in the stretchness (colored red ) and compression (colored blue ) .

 

 

MY QUESTION

1.IS APPLYING SMOOTH IS THE ONLY WAY TO AVOID ANY RED AND BLUE COLOR 

2.WHAT IF THE  COMPANY  I M GOING TO WORK ASKS REDUCE THE NUMBER LIKE A LOW POLY 

AND

3.WHETHER IS IT OKAY TO HAVE LITTLE RED AND BLUE OR SHOULD COMPLETELY AVOID

Its near impossible to avoid red and blue. Your work is fine. What is more important is that you have straight uv borders.
