"Please allow us to disable the auto layout "feature" in the Node Editor. It's extremely disorienting when Maya updates the layout to the way it thinks the nodes should be after every connection is made. As a side note, the pinning feature is nice, but it doesn't help much. If you pin a bunch of nodes, then the next node that gets added is somewhere off in the distance and Maya zooms out to show every thing. This too is very annoying."
