AnimBot support

AnimBot support

In the last few months this animation tool has taken over by storm, and for many Animators it has become a "must have" in their pipeline. Yet a lot of Animators wont be able to pay the giant paywal that has been set on the flagship Maya version no matter how much Autdesk tries. Give us Animators a chance to use your software for our work and demo reels, give us a chance to improve our skills with tools that big conpanies have already built into their pipeline! I want to be able to animate in Maya (LT) because the experience is great. But without tool support there is nothing that sets it enough appart from suites like Blender to justify the cost.

Yeah, it is pretty ridiculous that even though animators, such as myself, spent $800 and some change on Maya LT, because Mayas full version costs an arm and a leg, are now restricted on the tools we can use. I discovered this after buying LT, when I tried to upload tween machine, which is no longer supported in MEL format. Now I come to find out that not even Animbot is supported in LT. Obviously already spending the money I will still be using Maya, but I do feel a bit cheated. I would definitely like to understand more on why Autodesk restricted these tools and what they have gained out that decision, other than making more money out of us.
