Hi @Anonymous and @Anonymous,

I cannot reproduce the crash by following the help for Quick Rig. Could you provide me your files (zipped so that they attach to the forum), with detailed repro steps, and we will look into fixing your issue. Thank you!

Can you try something?

I see in your screenshot that you have the HIK panel open when running the Quick Rig tool.

Close the HIk panel, or switch to the Channel Box and see if that helps.  We had an issue where a bug in QT was causing Maya to hang when the Quick Rig tool was run and certain panels were open at the same time.

Let us know your results.

Regards,

Carlos

Hello!

As much as I would love to test this bug further out for you, I was on
trial and I think my trial has ended. 😞

I was testing the Maya LT to see if it can do a job for my project, but I
was not able to fully test it within the trial time due to the bug and all
that.

I am sorry..

Thanks.

Hi @Anonymous and @Anonymous. I have a way to adapt to this error it is not a fix but it works.
Just after the error maya will ask your scene just click continue and save then Maya crashes and close.run Maya again click on file and click on open scene a window should popup at the bottom of the window change the files of type to Maya ASCII now locate the scene where Maya saved your scene before it crashed which is in c\users\(username)\AppData\Local\Temp and search for (username).********.****.ma
