It would be extreme useful for Game Assets if you could convert any vertexanimation incl. all deformer to a bone based System, like Hans Godard from Naughty Dog does here.
This is not the same! The Bake DeformerTool (In Maya already implemented since Maya 2016) just converts/bakes already skinned meshes where Deformers are on top like Delta Mush down to joints. It doesn't create Bone itself like shown in the video which is the magic of the other Tool!
Thanks tj.galda! This is highly necessary! I tried implementing Dem Bones into Maya and DeformationLeaningSolver but neither seem to be working on Maya for some reason. With all of the hurdles with C++, I probably made a mistake or something with DemBones. I dunno about DeformationLeaningSolver, the maker stopped working/updating it on it on Github ages ago.
