When I export a mesh fromMaya, it should take by default the name of the mesh.
Example: If I export "head_highpoly" as OBJ, in the export dialogue should appear "head_highpoly.obj" as proposal.
When I import a Mesh, it should use the file name. Currently every zBrush-OBJ at import is only called "ZBrushPolyMesh" instead of the original name.
Example of an OBJ in folder:
Original name before import
Given name in Maya at import, which provides no more information 😞
Given name in Maya - very untidy and time-consuming to doublecheck and rename everything
So all names at import/export need to be copied in the clipboard and pasted (which clears the older clipboard content) or manually written.
This is very time-consuming, when you have very strict naming conventions and everything needs to be doublechecked in a crowded outliner.
