"I would like to be able to import several sound nodes, offset them in maya and when I playblast have them all in the resulting video file. Maya has always only allowed a single audio node into a playblast.
The reason I've wanted this is because dialog is so closely tied to animation that tweaks to dialog timing are often necessary during the animation process, and it's a pain to jump back and forth between an external editor, offset the dialog, and replace it back into maya.
"Why not use the trax editor" you say? Well it doesn't do scrub preview, overlapping sounds don't mix together, and the playblast still doesn't get all the separate sounds into it."
