Maya New Features + Bug Fixes + Improvment Roadmap

Maya New Features + Bug Fixes + Improvment Roadmap

Hey Autodesk,

Why not Having some public roadmaps? I think that would be a fantastic step towards your community. It will show that you guys care about your users. I think we all know that in terms of revenue, Maya doesn't bring much to the table, but we still hope it can be at least a little motivation for Autodesk to take steps like these.

Look what the guys from Epic do, and I don't think having something like this is asking too much:

https://portal.productboard.com/epicgames/1-unreal-engine-public-roadmap/tabs/109-unreal-engine-5-5

This is so awesome and exciting the way how they do and I personally love how they show with a little teaser of what its coming with a voting system embedded to each feature.

So please hire someone to be dedicated on this frontend, that I think this will bring a lot of life again to the community.

Thanks

- Daniel

Sadly, this software is dead. Autodesk doesn't care.

Perhaps developers feel that they have done a lot, but users feel that Maya is like a stagnant software, mainly because a large number of features have not been updated for many years, leading to the need to search for solutions in other software. For example, when making animations, you need to go to Cascadeur; when making broken cracks or building city streets, you need to go to Blender or Houdini; when making plants or terrain, you need to go to other software. In short, you keep switching to other software. Then every year, I silently hope that Maya will become stronger and stronger, and the result is just like how everyone feels, it's like a person's foot getting injured and not treating it, but constantly taking care of their arm.

A public roadmap would be delightful. Unreal's is a great standard for what a roadmap should look like, and they also look to the community for what they want.
