Don't create groups for objects that are combined, separated or extracted

"As a still relatively new user of Maya (though i've been in school for it over a year now), I find it increasingly difficult that every time i extract and recombine objects it creates a new group node. So if i have to split a model's head to create blend shapes, then recombine it with the body, i open my hypergraph to see my object under two (or three.... or four... or ten) group nodes. I don't know why this would seem desirable to anyone as this will only cause objects to be affected by double transformations upon scaling or moving the object's group as a whole. If there is a setting causing this, i have no clue how to unset it. But this is a minor issue that causes beginners like me huge headaches, especially since it makes things far more unorganized (ironic when you consider grouping is made to organize objects and assets.)."

I have been using Maya for years and this is one of this most annoying things about modeling. The outliner turns into a jumbled mess of grouped meshes after working for a while. Please add an option to not create groups in combine/separate/extract.
