Auto Key shouldn't require a set key

(Copied from original User Voice forum)

"When I turn on auto-key, I shouldn't have to first create a key in order for it to start working (otherwise, it doesn't work).  If no keys have been set before turning auto-key on, Maya should create a default key at frame 0 and another key at the current frame, with the new position, rotation, etc. values on the current key frame."

This has been the default behavior for so long it will break people's workflows to change it.

So glad to see this archived, it works that way in another 3d app.. and it's a terrible workflow IMO.
