What kinf of weird Ngon is this ? I see normal quad when in modeling mode (when I press 1) but when I press 3 for smooth mode I see this weird circular Ngon and I don't know how to get rid of it . Any ideas?

Your mesh is not clean, those vertexes might not be attached or you might have more than 4.
Always check your mesh and enable Heads up display to help you out.
Display>Heads up Display>Poly Count
