When I try to use the layout tool on the student version of Maya 2018, it doesn't give me the switch option to Unfold3D and is not keeping the scale. I used the tool to layout the UV's for two objects that are exactly the same size and it made one object extremely small and one extremely large.
How do I reset the tool so that it is the current version of the Layout tool?
Hi @Anonymous and welcome to the community!
Do you have the Unfold 3d plugin enabled?
You can check this by going to Windows->Settings/Prefs->Plugin Manager and then scroll down until you see Unfold3d.mll.
If that doesn't work, you can reset Maya to default by deleting your settings/preferences.
