Time ruler guide lines density

Hello,

I have a problem with graph editor. I cannot change the intervals/density of frame guide lines of a time ruler. Is there any way to add lines besides zooming in?

Cheers

Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for posting! As of right now, there is no way to add more dividers to the graph editor view without zooming in. Although, I used to do some contract animation myself and can totally see the value in that feature. If you have a moment, I would recommend posting to our Maya Idea Station - our developers regularly view this channel when they are brainstorming new ideas for future versions.

If you do get a chance to post there, please post the link here so I (and others) can vote for it 🙂 I think this would make a great addition to Maya!

Thanks for being a part of our community!

Hi!

It looked like this up to Maya 2019.

I am not sure why this has been changed in Maya 2020 and the other view has not been kept as option in the Preferences.

But as suggested by @jordan.giboney , just add this to Maya Ideas.

Okay, thanks for answering. I will post it there and in the meantime I will look for some plugins.

Cheers
