textures and materials plugin for maya

hello there, i used to use 3ds max about 5 or 6 years ago .. so i remember that there was a material library like metal glass wood etc ... 

is this exist in maya ? if not, is there any plugin for maya has this materials library so i can assign .. hmmm .. maybe something like substance painter .. but not that a siparated software .. just a plugin (script) for maya ..

What renderer?

didn't understood .. which render am using ? if yes it's maya hardware 2.0 but now am downloading renderman .. windows 10 .. sooo ?

You have to mention your renderer when you post a question, there are too many in the market.

Hardware 2.0 does not have a shader library.

aha .. got ya .. so you mean that every renderer has a material library ? right ?

(Windows 7 Dual Titan Z GTX Xeon E5 14 core) is a renderer or what ?
