He all wonder if anyone has a work around or a trick to do something like this fast and effectively and cleanly I'm trying just wrap a plan around a text letter please see video. Maybe the only way to do this is lay out UV. Please just point me in the right direction here Thanks for any suggestions

One way you could do this would be to make the plan into an Ncloth then drape it around the letter.
In this example ncloth is used for a table like model but the same method could be applied to your scene!

In order for it to completely cover the letter like in your original video its going to take a lot of tweaking.
Off the bat you would want to make sure the plane is high poly and from there you would want to play with the gravity, force etc settings in order to get the proper result.
You can also change the shape of the plane and bend it or move it before making it into a nCloth so it may have an easier time covering the letter!
