Shader / Material is warped and patchy?

Hello,

Made a model in Zbrush, exported the low to Maya and unwrapped it. However, the shader is patchy and warped. Tried deleting it in the Hypershade window and it went green, (might have done this wrong?) reapplied a new one and went back to being patchy.

When I textured it within Substance Painter it was fine so ignored it but when I wanted to render the model in Marmoset the patchiness was affecting the rest of the texture maps. Any idea how to solve this so I can export it correctly?

Thank you.

Hi!

Check for multiple UV Sets.

For further help, please provide a scene-file.

Hi there,

Thanks for the response, just checked and I don't believe that is the problem, also tried creating a new UV set and deleting the old one but did not seem to work either. (could have missed something) Trying to attach scene file but does not seem to work, tried attaching fbx also.

Could not work out what caused this issue but I exported it as an Obj, imported it back into Maya and it was fine. Exported back out as FBX and no issue.

Hi!

The normals are locked. Just use

Mesh Display -> Unlock Normals
