Select GPU for Maya Viewport

Is there a way to force Maya to use a specific GPU and not just the first one it finds in the index? I have two Titan RTX Nvlinked that I want to use for rendering, and the 3rd TGPU i.e Titan Xp for viewport solely. But right now Maya auto-picked the first GPU, i.e. one of the Titan RTX. I dont see any options to change this. You can do this in Substance Painter.

Hello @dhanad,

thanks for your post. I've noticed that you also posted the question in the Arnold Forum: Select GPU for Maya Viewport.

The suggestion from Stephen Blair was, to use the Nvidia Control Panel:

However, you commented that a Windows Update caused a reset of all settings. Could you solve the issues with Manual Device Selection, as Lee Griggs suggested in the Arnold Forum?

Looking forward to your feedback!

Best regards,

Patrick
