Script to stop Unfold3D process

Hi,

I used Unfold3D on a mesh with topological errors and as a result the Unfold process sort of got stuck for that specific file. 
The error shown is :- Error: Unfold3D command failed: Input polygon mesh data has unrepairable topology error(s)

Is there any way to stop the command?

Shut down Maya.

My advice is to clean mesh first before doing the Uvs, Delete history then save copies in case of a crash and try different methods of Unfolding.
