I run Maya 2016 ext 2 with 7 monitors on MS Windows 7. I have my windows layed out in a way that is beneficial for me. However, when Maya opens, not all of my windows open that I had previously layed out.
I choose File->Save Preferences to save the window positions and sizes. I just found out that if I run Maya in administrator mode, the positions and sizes are remembered when I open Maya, but not all windows open. I have to manually open each one up. For example, I want Hypershape open on monitor 3 always when I open Maya or start a new project.
Can this be done and why do I have to run in Administrator mode to have it remember the position and sizes?
