Random crashes in OGSDevices-16.dll

Hi (Sean),

 

I am officially near a final knockout. After assembling the main scene with all references and cranking the resolution of my own procedurally generated meshes up to be production ready, Maya crashes at random times, but far too often to be able to get anything meaningful done...

I was hoping that Maya2019 may solve this, but unfortunately, it crashes even harder, always directly after the scene was loaded.

 

For the case that it may be possible to check whats going on, I attached the log file. The CER number is:

CER_187986312

 

I need to know it its Maya or me. But I have been working with the relevant nodes (my nodes) for years without any problems and created huge scenes with them ( > 3 billion triangles ) back with Maya2016.

I know this is a user forum. But Sean offered me help from his side, I did not ask the first time. So I was hoping there might be a chance he could easily find out if the source for this crash is within maya code, not mine.

And sorry, I don`t have any special support contract with AD.

 

However, the crashes still occur and essentially kill my project and the justification for my empolyment (and an integral part for a phd students thesis)

Help -> Speak Back -> Report a Problem
