In maya 2025, when you toggle "show>selection highlighting", face selection highlighting is not disabled. When working with trim sheets this is really annoying since I can barely see the trim texture I'm working with, due to the face highlighting.
I did look it up, and people mention some workarounds, but I really just wish I could nudge my uv islands around without having to convert my selection every time.
